Queer Purple series

This work developed through ideas of mark making and how individuals can use marks. The over all title for the series also used for the first three works comes for a Derek Jarman quote;

“The blue of the man & red of the Woman combine to make queer purple”

The series looks at homosexual (male) identity from a personal perspective ranging from the statement of ‘Queer Purple’, the plea of ‘Just’ and the gathering in ‘Regiment’.
